Chidakaashyog
The Consciousness Expanding Technique
by Bobji
How expansive is the mind? Can the mind be as vast as space? The marvels that we understand about the Universe with all is various planets, particles and galaxies, is awesome, breathtaking and really beyond our comprehension. Can the individual human mind be as miraculous, mysterious and wondrous? Can one experience this expanded state of consciousness within oneself?
According to Surya Jowel, the propagator of ‘Suryayog’, a technique to draw the healing and curative powers from the sun, one can experience the vastness and wonders of the mind by the sincere practice of a meditation technique he calls “Chidhakaashyog”.
As a novice to this Chidhakaashyog technique, I am really amazed that after doing this 30 minute technique for just a few days, I have had many ‘eye opening’, expanding experiences. The pulsating, vibrant auras and colours one experiences while viewing the Chidhakaashyog symbol during this practice reminds me of what Quantum Physics says about the atom and consciousness. Atomic physics similarly states that all matter is really energy pulsating at different frequencies creating the ‘appearance’ of solid matter. The sub-atomic particles of electrons orbiting at tremendous speeds around the nucleus of the atom are so vibrant, so fast, one cannot precisely trace its orbital pattern as it appears to ‘jump’ in and out of time and space. Most of the initiates have experienced this aura flashing phenomena, and the changes in shapes and colours after doing this practice. We have been mesmerized by these initial experiences and eagerly await to see what lies ahead.
Chidhakaashyog technique involves no mantras, idols or deities. According to Surya Jowel it is Nirakara (formless), Nirguna (quality-less) and Thuriyateet (beyond all states of consciousness). This advanced technique from the higher Masters leads the dedicated practitioner to the highest stithaprajna state of equanimity, revealing one’s past, present and future. The aim is to experience within us, that which is above time and space. It answers the fundamental questions: “Who am I?” and “Where am I going?”. But for this to take place, purity in body and mind are most important. One has to maintain certain disciplines to be the recipient of the grace of Cosmic Consciousness.
In the vastness of this internal Universe, I have begun a journey. Even with the varied experiences I have had thus far, I intuitively feel many more are waiting to be manifested through this Chidhakaashyog technique.
