Chidhakaashyog

For the more serious advanced practitioner

In order to get the most out of your Chidhakaashyog meditation practice, it is highly recommended to observe some disciplines as these will help to further purify the body and mind allowing for deeper experiences:

  1. Suryayog Practice
    The daily practice of Suryayog either at home or in a group

  2. Dietary Restrictions
    Vegetarian diet only (no meat, fish, etc)
    • No Alcohol
    • No Onion
    • No Garlic
    • No Coffee
    • No Tea
    • No Drum Sticks

    Eat less at night. Preferably before sunset. Eat light foods (ie fruits).

  3. Relationships
    Sincere practice of Celibacy (physical relationship and even entertaining sexual thoughts must be strictly avoided)

  4. Duration of the practice
    Chidhakaashyog should be practiced a minimum of 41 times within 41 days (one mandala). If you miss, you must make it up by doubling up twice per day until the number is achieved within the 41 day time frame. Once the 41 period is complete, you may continue to do the practice.
